I have not written about what is currently going on between Britain and Iran right now, but I have been trying to stay up on the facts. Well we have some new developments and the escalation continues. I ran across what I thought to be an excellent commentary on the context of this current crisis and how we have gotten to this point. Please read this article and ask yourself, "How have our policies on detainment, treatment and interrogation of prisoners in the "War on Terror" affected this current situation? And how can we possibly expect another nation to follow the rules when we have advertised that the rules don't apply to us anymore?"
